Coriander
Coriander, or cilantro, has a flavor that divides opinions. But here at SproutWorld, we’re a big fan of coriander and use it in several of our pencil editions. It’s really easy to grow at home on a windowsill or in a sunny spot – just be sure not to overwater it. Within two weeks you should start to see shoots emerging.

How to use it
It’s easy to use in cooking – in fact, coriander has been used in cooking for thousands of years! Its leaves are often used to garnish Asian and Indian dishes, and the seeds can be dried to use as a spice as well. Coriander also works well in salads and in soups, especially paired with carrot.
The best thing about coriander: it adds a little zest!
